PilotJobsWatch est né de ce constat : un pilote ne devrait pas passer ses journées à scruter manuellement des sites web pour espérer tomber sur la bonne annonce au bon moment. Le système surveille automatiquement plus de 20 sources d'offres aviation — sites spécialisés, agences de placement internationales, et l'intégralité des annonces LinkedIn destinées aux nouveaux pilotes (First Officer A320, Cadet Programs, Flight Instructor) — jour et nuit, et envoie une notification instantanée sur le téléphone dès qu'une opportunité correspond au profil recherché. C'est un outil qui redonne du pouvoir au candidat, dans un univers où l'asymétrie d'information joue systématiquement contre lui.
L'ambition est simple et radicale : transformer ce prototype en un service web public, gratuit, accessible à chaque nouveau pilote en Europe et en Afrique cherchant un premier emploi, quelle que soit sa langue, sa nationalité ou son école d'origine. Une interface sobre, des alertes configurables selon son propre profil, un tableau de bord qui suit les opportunités en temps réel.
À court terme : ouvrir le service à une poignée de pilotes testeurs. À moyen terme : un site web dédié, une marque, un référencement, et des partenariats avec les écoles de pilotage européennes et africaines qui voient chaque année leurs élèves se heurter au même mur. À plus long terme, en faire la référence incontournable du pilote junior en recherche de premier poste sur ces deux continents.

Behind every freshly-qualified candidate, there are years of sacrifice: a 70,000 to 120,000 euro loan, months of theoretical preparation, hours bought at premium prices, English-language exams taken far from home, an A320 type rating that swallows the last of the savings. And at the end of it all, one anxiety: missing the posting at the right moment, finding out three days too late that Swiss, Austrian, Etihad or Air France Transavia were recruiting profiles exactly like ours.
PilotJobsWatch was born from this observation: a pilot should not spend their days manually monitoring websites, hoping to come across the right posting at the right moment. The system automatically watches over 20 sources of aviation jobs — specialised boards, international placement agencies, and every LinkedIn posting aimed at new pilots (First Officer A320, Cadet Programs, Flight Instructor) — day and night, and sends an instant phone notification whenever an opportunity matches the target profile. It is a tool that gives power back to the candidate, in a world where information asymmetry systematically works against them.
The ambition is simple and radical: turn this prototype into a public, free web service, accessible to every new pilot across Europe and Africa seeking a first job, regardless of their language, nationality or school of origin. A clean interface, alerts configurable to each individual profile, a dashboard tracking opportunities in real time.
Short-term: open the service to a handful of pilot testers. Mid-term: a dedicated website, a brand, search visibility, and partnerships with European and African flight schools who see their students hit the same wall every year. Long-term: establish it as the reference tool for any junior pilot seeking a first position across these two continents.
